Three Putters

Roanoke Valley, Virginia · In Development

Drive for show.
Putt for dough.

An outdoor practice facility from the people who needed one this badly. A full-length range for the show — and the valley’s only public short-game complex for everything that actually lowers your score.

The buttons work. The bays don’t exist yet. We’ll write back.

A word about the name

We named this company after a problem. We are now building the treatment center.

For years, Three Putters has served the golfer who takes three — with gear, with sympathy, and with a set of rules carefully engineered to ensure that no putt over four feet need ever be attempted in earnest. It has recently come to our attention that there is another way.

So we are building it: a range with tracking on every ball you launch, and a putting and short-game complex good enough that practicing the boring stuff stops feeling boring.

The show gets you here. The dough keeps you coming back.

For the Show

The Range

  • Grass and premium mat bays, with ball-tracking technology on every stall. Every yard, on the record.
  • Covered, heated bays for year-round outdoor practice. Real flight, real weather, no screens.
  • Lighted for evening sessions, because the urge to fix a slice does not keep business hours.
  • Target greens at true yardages — not flags in a field.
six feet, taken seriously

For the Dough

The Green

  • A tournament-quality putting and short-game complex, maintained at true course speeds. No excuses survive contact with these surfaces.
  • Dedicated chipping, pitching, and bunker areas — every lie you fear, available on demand.
  • The only public-access short-game facility of its kind in the Roanoke or New River Valleys.
  • Practice games, drills, and pin sheets posted weekly, so the short-game work runs itself.

Notice · Local Rule

Rule 3c of the Modified Rules of Golf (“Auto Two Putt”) is suspended on these grounds. The greens are fine. Putt it out.

Instruction & Equipment

The Fitting & Teaching Studio

PGA instruction for every level — from learning which end of the club to hold, to shaving the last two strokes off a single-digit index. The fitting bay pairs launch-monitor data with on-grass validation, which is something no indoor studio can offer. Junior programs and beginner clinics run on the calendar, not by appointment-begging.

Provisions

The Clubhouse Corner

Three Putters apparel and headwear, direct from the collection. Grab-and-go drinks and snacks. A member lounge and event space for gatherings of questionable handicap integrity. The full seal, under one roof.

Memberships

Four ways in. All of them end at the same practice green.

Entry

The Breakfast Ball

Pay as you play. Walk-up access to the range and the green — no commitment, no penalty, no questions asked.

One per visit. Obviously.

Core

The Regular

Monthly, unlimited, both sides of the property. The show and the dough, whenever the mood strikes.

The name is aspirational. So is the membership.

Corporate

League & Company

Company memberships, league nights, and event hosting. Bring the whole outfit; we’ll keep the scorecards honest*.

Lessons, briefly

Lessons meet you where your game is — whether that’s learning which end of the club to hold or arguing with a launch monitor about your attack angle. Fittings begin with data and end on grass, where the data has to answer for itself. First lesson to final fitting, everything happens outdoors, at real targets, in real air.
